REAL LIFE LAUGH FOR TODAY....IN THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF SPECKLES THE WONDER DOG......So today I was Lucille Ball back from the dead! As many of you know I have SPECKLES the wonder dog for a foster. I am also bad with keys and locks. I also went outside in my robe and nothing else to let Peanut the dowager dog out for her morning excursion. While out tending to Peanut Speckles pawed the back door and succeeded in locking me out of the house! YUP NO PHONE, NO KEYS, AND NO CLOTHES! Now mind you, I live on a street in a suburban neighborhood where all but the infirm or criminal are off to work by this hour....so what DO I DO! Remember when we were doing the Thankful for 7 day thing, and my young neighbor offered help if ever needed? Well she was home from work today, and she is fit enough to climb through a window! The windows were up but we had to pull a screen off and boost her in. She is afraid of dogs and of course Speckles the large friendly and irrepressible Ambull was there to greet her as she slid into the sink full of dirty dishes. Now ordinarily Speckles would not have welcomed a stranger in through a window, but in this case she licked this poor girl, who was now shaking and fearing for her life, and welcomed her into the house! Thank you Specks for recognizing a friend! AND THANK YOU GOOD NEIGHBOR FOR SAVING AN OLD NEARLY NAKED WOMAN FROM SURE DEATH FROM EMBARRASSMENT!!!!!!
