REAL TALK SUCCESS STORY - Please SHARE (Fundraising 101) - 9 YEAR OLD JANELLE NUNO & THE NUNO FAMILY. The primary focus of a charity event should educate others about the cause, how the event benefited the cause, and how the cause utilizes the funds. HOWEVER, all over Facebook there are events which label themselves as fundraisers with the charity buried in the title. In addition, no one realizes it is a fundraiser because ALL of the focus is on the attendees posing for the camera. The following is a POSITIVE RECAPITULATION powered by Boltzilla and Game Changers Corp YESTERDAY (Saturday 2/1/14) in San Diego CA., the Nuno family and their friends were washing cars from 8:07am PST to 5:02pm PST and raised $3551.00 (awesome) for 9 year old Janelle Nuno who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia T (T is the most aggressive/progressive) and currently on a ventilator following brain surgery upon 24 hours of being diagnosed. Summary of $3551.00 raised - total of 156 cars were washed, 22 people walked up with donations, and 8 people were repeat (came back with 2nd-3rd cars). There were a total 41 volunteers (21 men/20 women) consisting of people washing & drying, registration of donations, people waving down cars with signage, concessions, and vendors. Later today, Cesar Nuno (Janelles father), David Boltzilla Mendiolal, and myself will have a post event conference call and provide you a more detailed report. Special thanks to Genes Automotive located at 1085 Palm Ave, Imperial Beach, California 91932 for the utilization of their parking lot. We are from far done! Please go to link below to make a donation and help Janelle who still on ventilator. Thank you & God bless. giveforward/fundraiser/j2x3/janelles-lukemia-fund
