REALTORS: BE AWARE OF A KNOWN CRIMINAL TRYING TO ACCESS MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR LISTINGS. I was recently contacted by a man named, Peter Rafael. He called from an 860- area code and requested to tour one of my multi-million dollar listings. I asked him the typical buyer questions, then requested proof of funds or a letter of financial capacity. Upon receipt of the letter from his Wealth Manager: Andrew Gilbert, I attempted to verify the information provided. None of the information checked out and had him meet at my office. Please find a photo of this man who goes by the name Peter Rafael or Peter Roig and is a known criminal with over 9 pages of criminal history. He appeared at my office with two other men. All three were approximately in their 50s. Peter was about 58 has a shorter left arm and evidence of previous facial plastic surgery. The vehicle they drove was a blue Mazda CX-9 with tag number BRZ D35. The Fort Lauderdale police are aware and the Fraud department is currently investigating.
