REAR WINDOW (1954). James Stewart plays a rugged photographer laid up with a broken leg who passes the time looking out on his neighbors across the way. He starts to suspect one of them, a creepy salesman (Raymond Burr) of murdering his wife. First only Stewarts wisecracking housekeeper (Thelma Ritter) seems to believe him, then his high society girlfriend (Grace Kelly) gets on board the conspiracy much to the annoyance of Stewarts old cop friend (Wendell Corey) who doesnt believe the story ......at first.
