REASI, Nov 16: Chief Education Officer Reasi has ordered suspension of a teacher for misusing letter pad of the High School to make fun of the Headmaster by demanding helicopter for the staff. The erring teacher, identified as Ajay Singh of Government High School Ser Sundwan Zone Chinkah, allegedly wrote a funny note on school letter pad demanding helicopter for the staff as well as Headmaster and also sent this letter to his friends on social media. Taking serious note of the episode, CEO Reasi ordered a through enquiry into the matter and for the purpose, a two member committee of Principal DIET and Incharge ZEO was constituted. Though the committee has not yet submitted its report, the CEO ordered suspension of the erring teaching on the basis of preliminary investigations. The CEO has also issued instruction to all the teachers to avoid such practices in future so that sanctity of the profession is maintained.
