*REBECCA* EPISODE 29 Rebecca woke up late knowing it was a weekend,she had a seminar to attend later in the afternoon. She brushed her teeth and showered,she found the clothes she asked Mariam to select for her last night. She picked the black sleeveless dress and wore it,she tied a scarf on her hair.Fumbi came to announce that breakfast was ready. She took her seat at the table,Liam also came in with Temitope.Her father was asking her if she was having any problem at the office,to which she answered no. That was one thing about him,since she assumed full control of the companies.he never once try to pry into her affairs.he merely adviced her. Rachel came in too,Felix arrived and joined the table.Breakfast was served. As usual everyone conversed,sharing news.The table seemed more lively this morning. Hmmm hmmm. Rebecca cleared her throat to get everyones attention. I think youve got something to announce. Felix said glancing at Rebecca. Yes.Rebecca smiled.Kogi proposed to me last evening. Temitope also congratulated her sister in law. Rachel left the table quietly unnoticed,she couldnt contain the excited talk and congratulations. He already asked for my blessings. Dr Ajikole smiled heartedly.Im just happy for you. Felix fill our glasses with wine.Liam added. This calls for celebration. Temitope laughed. The family toasted to happiness for their sister. Temitope sipped her wine,suddenly her face went pale,Hmmmm hmmm she groaned. The pairs of eyes in the room were trained on her,Liam rushed to her side. Whats wrong darling? he asked holding her shoulders. Hmmm hmmmm she responded again.My...my ..water bag just broke. Liam asked Felix to hold his wife while he hurried to get her already packed delivery bag and his car key. Rebecca tried to calm her down as she assisted Felix in moving her to the car.Liam opened the door and they all got in,speeding all the way to the hospital. Dr Ajikole returned to the sitting room,muttering a silent prayer to God for safe delivery of his first grandchild. Rachel appeared,she was surprised to meet an empty room.Where are the others?She asked. Temitope has been taken to the hospital for delivery.Dr Ajikole answered.
