REBUTTAL TO COMMISSIONER MADORES EAST BRIDGE STATEMENT. Commissioner David Madore called out Jack Burkman to back up the claims in the Rebuttal to the Statement For that he submitted for the voters pamphlet. As many of you know, Ive been tracking this East Bridge proposal and providing data and facts as well as citations, based on my previous involvement with the Transportation Corridors Visioning Study. This one was easy. There are a lot of statements that Madore makes and its pretty darn easy to refute almost all of them. I do find it interesting that a County Commissioner is seeking the advice of voters on this measure, yet aggressively campaigns to get people to vote his way. Its also interesting that his original post was sometime around 4:00 PM, which is typical business hours at the county (8-5). But maybe thats the topic of a future post. Attached is my two-page rebuttal.
