RECAP POST - PLEASE READ Happy Monday to everyone! First off thank you to everyone that came out and participated in this weekends tournament! I am always impressed by everyones commitment to making these LAN events successful. Im currently working on submitting the results from this weekends tournament to RIOT so we can get your RP sent out. So with that said here is what else is going on. Im going to switch up a couple of things going forward. The reason is so we can do 2 things. Increase the participation of higher level teams for these events, meaning bigger payouts, and possibly sponsors, and also continue to grow the overall community. So we are going to add an additional format to our current LoL event called GSB Tourneys. This format will only be open to Gold, Silver, and Bronze lever summoners. The entry fee will be reduced to $10 per player and capping the teams at 8. Of course there will be rules to keep people from hopefully gaming the system. These events would take place every 1-2 months with the first tentatively scheduled for June 21st. Full details will be out shortly. 2nd. The current format will change to something called the GBZ Open Tourneys. These will be open to anyone to participate. However we will be raising the entry fee to $20 per player and capping the teams at 8 also. These tournaments would take place every 2-3 months. Each of these events will be happening at alternative times. The goal is to continue to help grow the player base, increase the fun factor for these events, and also hopefully increase the skill level of the players. I know we are going to hit some bumps, but we are not going to start policing accounts and I will rely heavily on the players to help out in case there are any issues.
