RECOGNIZING THE SPIRIT OF PRIDE (A SPIRITUAL DISEASE) Part 3: The battle with pride may be one of the most difficult you will encounter. Pride is very strong in the lives of many, and it will take a fierce determination and persistence to defeat it. The spirit of pride is stiff-necked. Stubbornness and rebellion are signs of pride. Israel was always called stiff-necked people. God judge them for their stubbornness and rebellion. Hardness of heart is another characteristic of pride. It is also the root cause of divorce (Matthew 19: 8). Hardness of heart is connected to unbelief and the inability to understand and comprehend spiritual things. Pride can also be so rooted in our lives that it can become very difficult to pull out. God has the power to smite and break Pride’s head (authority). God is our King working salvation (deliverance) in the earth. Remain blessed.
