REDUCED: 2002 AQHA gelding sired by Don’t skip this Chip. Jr is 15.3 and an absolute stand out in the show ring. He has been my daughter’s open and 4-H show horse since she was 9. She has decided that she wants to breakaway rope so Jr. is for sale. He is absolutely sound and vet checks are welcome at buyer’s expense. He hauls, clips, bathes, ties, etc with no issues. Jr. is solid in showmanship and on the rail. He has taken good care of my daughter who has put a lot of time in him over the years. The video that is posted is her first year with jr. You can see how he travels naturally in a show situation without a lot of collection. Jr. did have some dressage training earlier and he is very responsive to legs and hands. Although my daughter did not ride English, this horse would make a very competitive huntseat horse. He tracks right into his front when you have him extended and is absolutely beautiful in that gait. An ideal home for him would be a show home. He loves his stall and being babied. A youth would do well with him and could go a long ways with some coaching. A lady who wanted to show competitively would do well with him as well. Again, the only reason he is for sale, is daughter does not want to show, and he is not cut out for roping and barrels. $5500 considerations to show home. Approved show type home only.
