REFLECTIONS As we watch what is going on the the World today, we feel Helpless...it is spinning out of control. In Europe people are fighting over food..around the world, people are committing suicide because of the Hopelessness they feel: Christians are being persecuted and killed for their Faith, BUT ALWAYS WE MUST REMEMBER, No Matter what the world is doing; No Matter how we feel about something or someone; No Matter how many people are acting a fool; WE ARE THE ONLY PERSON WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO GOD FOR. GOOD and UPRIGHT is the LORD; therefore will HE Teach sinners in the WAY. ALL the the Paths of the LORD are Mercy and Truth unto such as Keep HIS Covenant and HIS Testimonies. For THY NAMES SAKE, O LORD, Pardon mine iniquity; for it is Great. What man is he that Feareth the LORD? Him shall HE Teach in the WAY that HE shall choose. His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth. The SECRET OF THE LORD IS WITH THEM THAT FEAR HIM; and HE WILL SHOW THEM HIS COVENANT. Mine eyes are Ever TOWARD THE LORD; for HE shall pluck my feet out of the net. PSALM 25:8-15 We have all gone through trying times. David ran for his life from Saul, his King. He did without food; had everything taken from him; acted like a mad man to preserve his life......yet this he wrote, for he KNEW the Promises of the LORD, and continually gave Glory to GOD for protecting him in every circumstance. Sometimes we just need to sit down, and read Psalms like this one aloud, for it tells of our trials, but also, most IMPORTANT OF ALL, tells of GODS Provision and Intervention in the affairs of man ON BEHALF OF HIS CHILDREN. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE LOVE OF GOD FOR HIS CHILDREN; THOSE WHO FEAR HIM AND HOPE IN HIS MERCY. FIRST David proclaims the Goodness of GOD to those who keep his Covenant and Testimonies and Fear HIM. AFTER ADORATION comes PETITION. IF you are NOT HIS CHILD, TODAY, I Beg you, Invite HIM INTO YOUR HEART...BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THOU SHALT BE SAVED. Turn THEE unto me, and have Mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; O bring THOU me out of my distresses. Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and Forgive all my sins. Consider mine enemies; for they are man; and they hate me with cruel hatred. O keep my soul, and Deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I PUT MY TRUST IN THEE. Let Integrity and Uprightness preserve me; for I WAIT ON THEE. Redeem Israel, O GOD out of all their troubles. PSALM 25:16-22 NOTE; First REVERENCE of GOD; Acknowledgement of GODS Provision and Attributes; then Request. In the request, as David cries out to GOD, he seeks Forgiveness for his Sins. He desires for GOD to make him a Better man. In Humility, he desires that he will Do Nothing that would cause others to turn from GOD. We can learn so much from this Prayer. Most of the time we go to GOD with GIMME, or GIVE ME. The First thing we should do is HUMBLE ourselves UNDER THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD; RECOGNIZING THAT HE IS GOD.....and HE ALONE CAN SAVE US from whatever situation or circumstance we are in. MAY THE LORD BE PRAISED. We must REMEMBER it is HE that puts Kings or Presidents on their thrones, and ONLY HE can take them off; it is ONLY HE CAN CHANGE SITUATIONS AND CIRCUMSTANCES...THE TIME DRAWS NEAR IS EVEN AT THE DOOR. ABBA FATHER, Forgive us for the times we abuse the Privilege of coming to YOU in prayer, by our pettiness; by our silly attitude; FORGETTING THAT we are IN THE PRESENCE OF THE MIGHTY AND HOLY GOD....our ELOHIM, our CREATOR. Forgive us for our Slothfulness in our prayer and prayer attitude. FATHER, put a Fire in our souls for the Lost, for the Abused; for the Neglected; for the Rejected, that burns within us, that cannot be put out. Give us a spirit of Earnestness that Truly DESIRES WHAT YOU DESIRE. A spirit that Seeks Ways to PRAY FOR AND MINISTER TO OTHERS. Open our Eyes to NEEDS AROUND US. Give us THANKFUL HEARTS for YOUR Provision. Hearts that are Humbled by YOUR PRESENCE, in Prayer. Thank YOU, ABBA FATHER, for Hearing our Prayers. IN THE MIGHTY AND HOLY NAME OF YESHUA/JESUS, our SAVIOUR and LORD. AMEN.
