REFLECTIONS Have we ever thought of finding the secret of divine communications? While we are so worried sometimes when the power of our phone has weakened or there is no network or we are out of coverage area, have we ever pondered with how weak or strong is our connections with Allah and how are we able to communicate with Him? If we are emotionally down, we have worries, we are buried deep into the abyss of human and social problems, have we ever thought of reaching out to Allah, calling Him and wishing Him to talk to us? But how? If we want to communicate with Allah and tell Him about our worries and problems, our afflictions and concerns, we have to PERFORM SALAH!. Yes, prayer is a means by which we can directly pour out our feelings to Allah, specially in the wee hours of the night when no one else watches and sees us except Him. Allah listens and hears, and will always be there to grant our prayers. Do we want Allah to answer us and talk to us and ease our worries? If we want to, we need to READ THE GLORIOUS QURAN. When we read the Holy Book, Allah is addressing us. We have to feel that every injunction is dedicated to us and every prohibition is addressed to us; every promise of good life in this world and in the hereafter is a call which Allah does to save us from the affliction of the world and the suffering of hellfire. Allah is calling us now. Let us begin to open connections and communications with Allah, recharge our battery, strengthen our network connection with the Divine. We can do all of these through SALAH and READING AL-QURAN.
