REGARDING FB INVITES TO *LIKE* PAGES! I have been on FB since 2007, and its a very RARE time that I ever send my friends/contacts an invite to LIKE a page....I may have done that at the max, 8 -10 times, in all the years I have been on FB. ~ Being in the advertising/promoting business...I dont like to SPAM others on social media. I understand how annoying that can be. So, most often what I do, is make an initial post ON MY WALL, and I will encourage/invite/prompt others to go check out the page, and to give it a *like*, if you all feel inclined to do so. ***I DO NOT SPECIFICALLY SEND OUT PERSONAL INVITES TO MY FRIENDS/CONTACTS, ASKING THEM TO *LIKE* VARIOUS PAGES. I understand that many of you are fans of other musicians/bands/businesses/groups, etc...I get that & can appreciate that. What I DO NOT APPRECIATE, is when I am getting REGULARLY *SPAMMED* with invites to *like* pages the YOU like, or that you want me to LIKE. Sometimes I get 5-6 (OR MORE) invites PER DAY from certain friends. To me, this is on about the same level as sending out GAME REQUESTS...after awhile, it gets pretty annoying. I can block game requests, but, FB doesnt have a way to block INVITES from friends. So....I am respectfully asking those who are making a HABIT of this...to PLEASE STOP DOING THIS...or YOU will find yourself being BLOCKED! As it is, I already have 2217 pages that I have joined, as well as various GROUPS that I belong to. Some of these pages & groups I am the admin of. I just simply cant LIKE every page that I get an invite to join...Im trying to scale back, if anything. **Let me be clear--->I am not referring to EVENT invites....I am referring to all the invites to like PAGES. Also...I am not referring to those friends who may send an invite every once in a blue moon...I am referring to the friends who are CHRONICALLY sending invites to me, almost everyday...and MANY invites!!
