REGGIE visited Animal House Veterinary Clinic this afternoon for his exam & health certificate and will be crossing state lines tomorrow on transport to his foster family at a fabulous no-kill rescue in Gilbert, Illinois, after his month long stay at Montgomery County Animal Control & Adoption Service where he continued to get overlooked by potential adopters. A big thank you to his LOCAL foster family who enabled us to pull him earlier this week after the shelter sent a plea that they were in desperate need of kennel space for incoming dogs. Reggie has come out of his shell tremendously over the last couple of days... his tail wags all the time, he comes when called, walks well on leash, sits for treats and takes them very nicely too! There are at least a dozen people to thank for their varying roles, big & small, in facilitating this boys rescue from A to Z... REGGIE THANKS YOU (as indicated by his giant smile)! To all of you transporting the various legs of his journey up through Illinois tomorrow, Reggie is looking forward to the car rides... and we wish you all safe travels!!
