REGISTER FOR YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE The program formerly known as Upward, which offered basketball and cheerleading at the St. Maries Church of the Nazarene, is now Win1. The program still offers basketball and cheerleading to students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Registration for the program is now open. Forms are available at Napa Auto Parts or online through the church’s web site, stmariesnazarene Evaluations for the program are scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20 or from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23. Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation. Registration for either costs $45. Scholarships are available. Practices will start Dec. 29. Games will be every Saturday from Feb. 7 to March 21. The awards celebration will be March 22. Volunteers are needed to serve as coaches, assistant coaches and referees as well as help with set-up, clean-up and concessions. For more information, please call the church at 245-4594.
