REGRETS Been thinking about my mother and about the things we did when she came to Seattle via train -- all by herself. And thinking about all the things we did when I visited Winslow.... As I reflect, I note, other than make meals and just chat, we did the things I thought she needed or enjoyed ... e.g. shop for clothes and shoes (for her), restaurants, grocery store.. etc. I wish I had taken her to a FABRIC SHOP. She would have loved that. Peter Archibeque took her once or twice when she went to live with him. But I dont know if she was still sewing then... I regret not taking her to a fabric store. She loved quilting. I did purchase some crochet thread for her, she chose the colors.
