RELIGION IS NOT OUR HEADACHE Turkey, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are pure Islamic states. In the State of Israel, the religion second to the Jewish religion is ISLAM and not CHRISTIANITY. There are many other examples of such countries where ninety five percent ( 95 % ) of the total population are Muslims. Is there any average Nigerian that is living above an average indigent of these Islamic states? NO is the answer. With a robust GDP and a vibrant economy, most Nigerians are living below the poverty line. ( And we are a Christian State governed by a christian president). Israel for example has no oil deposits, no mineral resources, is almost a desert with very little water, imports sand for building from Jordan and Turkey. Yet Israelis can boast of the basic necessities of life. Why I decided to write this is because, the same mistake we made in 2011 is about to repeat itself. We were told to vote for a christian president, a God fearing man and it will be well with Nigeria, and we fell for it. We voted massively for one of our own. AND CORRUPTION WAS ENTHRONED. Those of us going about with the message that a vote for another party other than the ruling party is a vote for islamisation of Nigeria should tell us also if Nigeria of today is better than the Nigeria of Late YarAdua. They should also tell us one Islamic country that Nigeria is better than in terms of the well being of the people. This propaganda worked very well in the last election but am afraid, Nigerians are wiser today, it will not work!!!! For Me, IF YOU CAN NOT GIVE ME REASONS TO VOTE FOR GEJ, DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE ME REASONS NOT TO VOTE FOR GMB. Let my conscience decide for me.
