REMEMBER EBOLA? Now that some time has gone by, is there anyone left out there who does not see the local West African Ebola epidemic, which was the 3rd in history, as an irresponsible media and health organizations (WHO) -driven hysteria? While it was the worst of the 3 Ebola epidemics in history, it never truly became a pandemic and all their projections were inflated and wrong, including the [millions of cases] projected by January 2015, which we now know for sure will NOT happen. The news media did not report on each occasion when their shorter term projections turned out to be wrong. They simply reported the next projection, completely bypassing the obvious IN-credibility of the sources. Instead of highlighting all the exposed people who never contracted the virus, they all-but ignored them and hoisted up any possible US domestic transmission without following up to report they never occurred. They reported the transportation of Ebola patients and victims as if they were transmissions. No one held the WHO accountable in our vastly irresponsible news media. News organizations simply mined their audiences for all the ratings and attention they could get. So, a few more questions: The next time the media does this to you will you remember this experience? Will you throw your arms up again and perpetuate all the myths they spread? Will you serve them by fomenting panic and fear? who.int/csr/disease/ebola/situation-reports/en/
