REMEMBER ITS ABOUT FEELING GOOD AND SURVIVING A BUSY LIFE AS HEALTHY AND POSITIVELY AS POSSIBLE NOT ABOUT LOOKING GREAT!!!! To many people become complacent with fitness programmes and nutritional interventions. I was determined to offer a fitness solution to real people, wanting achievable results. Stabilis Fitness isn’t about gym perfect bodies and unrealistic image – it’s about improving and enhancing the lifestyle and wellbeing of each and every client. I have successfully helped many achieve this and I continue working hard, bringing meaningful solutions to all. When embarking on a fitness and nutritional programme one must not look at it as a quick and easy solution because its not! It should be taken seriously as your life depends on it. Its a lifestyle change which must be maintained forever. Find something that you are good at and stick with it and when you fall out of love with that try some thing new but consistency is the key. I workout 5 days a week and when my body tells me its time to rest then I do just that. No key fits all but training 1-2 times a week although beneficial will not give huge changes. Nutrition is also key to a healthy lifestyle and I recently have not been sticking to the best diet and trust me I am feeling it. Highs and lows mainly feeling not so good with lack of energy :-( and to me experiencing this allows me to get myself back to the good feel area and to enforce this on you. Processed foods, packet foods, fizzy drinks, etc is making us all ill and it needs to stop but the more fast food outlets that open and the more commercials on the TV about junk food and quick solutions for busy people the more we believe its normal and we are passing this down to our children. I am certainly not saying be perfect 100% of the time but 80% is sufficient and I guarantee you will feel the benefits. Move all the time with the occasional sprint, lift heavy, use the land as nature intended with great food and drink plenty of water. Just think to yourself before you put something in your mouth: Is its real? Is it nutritional Should I really feed my children who I love and want to be healthy this? Do I want to live a fuller and better life? Do I want to survive? And when sitting down for long durations just remember its making you ill. Get up and move about and respect who you are.
