REMEMBER LEO? This beautiful boy had his throat cut ... and lived to share his story through HEART SPEAK. You listened and helped. THANK YOU. Now Leo is ready to go to his forever home. Every day without a family is a sad day for Leo ... enough already. Lets get him in a home with his family. OR... if you can foster, that would be wonderful. Leo is between two and three years old. It has been difficult to do a GOOD temperament test with his condition when he came in, but he has not given any problems with other dogs. We will do a temperament test and see how it goes. Right now he is in a kennel and Leo is not accustomed to that so he may behave differently. He craves attention... and he is in Bladen/Robeson County, NC. Transport can be arranged anywhere that does not have BSL in effect. As for children, we have not had issues. A child WAS responsible for what happened to leo so we do prefer he go where there are older children who understand the dos and donts of dog ownership. Dogs do seem to have an innate sense concerning children, but dogs who have been abused also recall the torture they suffered. I KNOW everyone here raises their children right ... and this is not a slur against anyone on our page. We just know those animals who have been so brutally abused can blank back to that place ... just as people do.
