REMEMBER THE IDES OF MARCH...This is a wary-ing month for those who remember the famous person of Roman History, Julius CAESAR. On this month, particularly March l5, is the known Ides of March when Caesar was traitorously assassinated by a group led by Brutus. The great tragedist William Shakespeare created his play on JULIUS CAESAR which perpetuates that Anthony oration: Friends, Romans, countrymen lend me your ears. I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him... And in sarcastic reference to Brutus, he says in the play, ...and Brutus is an honorable man...the evil of men is oft interred into their bones... I say that I am very wary of March because it is this time of the year that a lot of violence, conflagration and mysterious disappearances happen. Even the Bureau of Fire stated that the statistical number of fires in the country is always higher this month. Violence had erupted in Compostela Davaio where eleven policemen and military men died because of an NPA attack. Mysteriously, the MALAYSIAN JUMBO JET with 227 passengers and 12 crew members disappeared while on flight from Malaysia to Beijing and is still unaccounted for. In fact I even dreamed of violence in my REM SLEEP before all these things started to happen. IDES of March...and we still have 15 days more before March ends. I prefer to have May or June which are merry months of summer if only to remember Shakespeares MIDSUMMER NIGHTs DREAM. The photo below which was tagged is the famous Caesar military campaign during his Gallic wars. Those who studied Roman History in Latin Language will remember this... Gallia est divisa in tres partes...incolunt Belgae aquitani sunt...
