REMEMBER TO VOTE TOMORROW! Madison County Elections Department Implements Changes to Voting Precincts Changes have been made to six voting precincts throughout Madison County that will affect approximately 16,700 voters in countywide elections during 2014 and future election cycles. These changes were made in an effort to provide a better voting experience to the community through close proximity of polling locations to major roads and population clusters, expanded parking for voters and more comfortable interior and climate controlled space. These changes have also provided a cost savings to taxpayers by eliminating three physical voting locations; advancing our focus to streamline operations that improve service to our valued residents while expending fewer resources. Questions related to precinct and polling location changes should be directed to Frank Barger, Elections Administrator at 256-532-3332. Voters with questions regarding their assigned precinct and polling location, or if they did not receive an updated voter identification card should contact the Board of Registrars at 256-532-3510. Precinct #7 The polling location has been moved from the A&M Agribition Center to a new location. All voters in Precinct #7 will cast their ballot at: Cove Church at Chase 1635 Winchester Road Huntsville, AL 35811 Approximate number of voters affected is 5,800 Precinct #9 The polling location has been moved from Spragins Hall on the UAH Campus to a new location. All voters in Precinct #9 will cast their ballot at: Trinity Presbyterian Church 4315 Holmes Avenue, NW Huntsville, AL 35816 Approximate number of voters affected is 2,100 Precinct #25 merged with Precinct #17 Precinct #25, with a polling location at the Airport Road Fire Station, has been eliminated and merged with Precinct #17. All voters in Precinct #17 and former Precinct #25 will cast their ballot at: Trinity United Methodist Church 607 Airport Road Huntsville, AL 35801 Approximate number of voters affected is 2,100 Precinct #53 The polling location has been moved from J. E. Williams Elementary School to a new location. All voters in Precinct #53 will cast their ballot at: Intergraph Corporation 289 Dunlop Boulevard, Building 300 Huntsville, AL 35824 Approximate number of voters affected is 4,400 Precinct #59 merged with Precinct #21 and Precinct #68 Precinct #59, with a polling location at the Whitesburg Boat Harbor, has been eliminated and merged with existing Precinct #21 and Precinct #68. Voters in former Precinct #59 should carefully review their new voter registration card to determine which of these two voting locations they are to cast their ballot: Precinct #21 The Dwelling Place 2550 Redstone Road Huntsville, AL 35803 Precinct #68 New Hope City Hall 5496 Main Drive New Hope, AL 35760 Approximate number of voters affected is 1,200 Precinct #48 merged with Precinct #46 Precinct #48, with a polling location at the Senior Center, has been eliminated and merged with Precinct #46.
