REMEMBER? WHAT HAPPENED RE GAZA ??? More than a month ago, the israeli Government promised to eradicate Hamas because of the kidnapping and murder of three Jewish kids. Now, weeks later, they are talking about cease fires and negotiations, and demands for demilitarization while Hamas makes its demands for open borders, and end to blockades, and continued free electric and supplies from Israel as conditions for stopping terrorist attacks (for a while). No wonder many Israelis are confused and frustrated. Frustrated by what appears to be a lack of Israeli leadership and resolve and too much confusion at the top. Sorry and I hope Im wrong, but it looks like a repeat of bad history. Remember? In the Oslo Accords, Gaza was to be demilitarized. Didnt happen did it. Remember, in 2006, Gaza was to be free of Israelis and an experiment for peace. Didnt happen, did it? Instead, two mini wars, deaths, worldwide yelling at Israel, and blockade or not, arms build ups and now invasion tunnels. So, whats next. Does anyone in the Knesset have a suggestion? Or more of the same a year or two from now? Heres a suggestion: DO NOT REPEAT WHAT ALREADY FAILED ! More detail to come. Ideas?
