REMEMBERING: Eric Carr drummer for KISS who passed away on this date in 1991. Carr had fallen ill & was diagnosed with a extremely rare form of cancer - Heart Cancer. After several surgeries he recovered well enough to return to drumming for Kiss but Gene Simmons & Paul Stanley wanted to just concentrate on getting healthy & when he was certain he was well he could return to the group. After pleading with the guys, Carr flew to L.A. in 1991 to film God Gave Rock & Roll To You, the new video for the band. Upon returning to New York to work solely on getting his health back he took a turn for the worse. He did make one last appearance with Kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards in September 91. Shortly after suffered an aneurysm and was rushed to the hospital. Several days later, he suffered a brain hemorrhage and never regained consciousness. On November 24, 1991 he died. He was 41.
