REMEMBERING THE LEGEND- KISHOREDA ON HIS BIRTH ANNIVERSARY Click ‘ See More’ for details and link to a very rare Kishoreda song, Apni Marzi se Jiyoonga Main To , from Manmauji 1962 , composed by Madan Mohanji, as well a s the popular song ‘Zaroorat hai’ from the same film Kishoreda and Madanji were good friends from the days of Bombay Talkies in the 40s. Later , Madanji composed for many a Kishoreda starrer including Memsahib , Ilzaam , Bhai Bhai , Chacha Zindabad , Chandan, Manmauji , Ladka Ladki and others. Kishoreda also sang for Madanji in Parwana, Ek Muthi Aasmaan , Sahib Bahadur , Jalan, and some unreleased films MANMAUJI 1962 had the popular song ,. ‘Zaroorat Hai Ek Shrimati Ki’ but this song, ‘Bura Lagta Hai Lage Duniya Ko, Apni Marzi Se Jiyoonga Main To’ is less heard as it had been banned on radio , and removed from records and the film. Written by Rajinder Krishanji, it seems to be actually written , not only for the Manmauji character in the film played by Kishoreda.. but for Kishoreda himself !!
