REMEMBERING our dearest YASH CHOPRAji on his second death anniversary. We will always be grateful to him for his rare experiment and risk in using Madan Mohanji’s unused tunes for his film, Veer Zaara , 30 years after Madanji passed away… it was his vision and conviction that made this happen… even though so many industry people told him he was making a big blunder! Personally, we always received so much warmth and affection from him.. this pic of my wife , Anju ,and me with him was just a month before he passed away, and then.. just a few weeks later we ironically were posing with his memorial statue !! But for us ,the words ‘ Main Yahaan Hoon , Yahoon Hoon Yahaan’, seem as though Yashji is saying it himself! He continues to bless us personally. How we created this song together , Yashji,.. from a sad rejected tune of MADANJI ! At that time I felt it was my dad saying these words to me , and now its also as though you are!
