REMINDER -- MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION STARTS TODAY!! Introducing NEW Monday Group led by NEW staff member Gayle Alexander, LPC Mondays 11am – 12pm Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is designed to teach you how to block out negative distractions thereby reducing stress, developing greater balance and control, and allowing for fuller participation in your life. Led by: Gayle Alexander, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), is owner and co-founder of Project SAFE and has served as a family therapist for the past ten years. Many of her clients struggle with weight issues, realistic body images and eating disordered behavior. Through Gayle’s work, she has helped individuals and families more effectively solve issues though the use of improved coping mechanisms: self-soothing strategies, stress management, feelings clarification and communication skills. Gayle believes in a balanced approach to life in order to experience and enjoy work, social, family and fun time.
