REPORT MYANMAR: DEVELOPMENT DATA FOR INVESTORS --------------------------------------------------------------------- Union minister for Industry U Maung Myint, received country director of Oxford Business Group, in Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday. The meeting focused on assistance to be provided by the ministry for compilation of Report Myanmar 2015 as the report for 2014 attracts more foreign investor due to the valuable information in it. In a separate meeting with representatives from Thais K Bank, they coordinate for development of SMEs in Myanmar with assistance from SMIT bank and plan to run the bank in Myanmar as a commercial bank. He also discussed with the Managing Director of ShanDong Construction Engineering company of China, to ship necessary parts for running No-14 Heavy Industry (Thagara), that produce heavy diesel engines, at full capacity and giving technical training to the labourers.
