REPORT on Mickey day 12 - VERY discouraging day today. I left the house at 6:15 and got to the hospital by 7. Mickey was very agitated and had not slept well (he hasnt slept well all these nights). The PA came in around 8 and looked at the chest tube and said she thought it might come out today. She came back at 2, along with a nurse, to remove it!!!!! We were so happy, but when checking decided no - it still was not ready. Maybe this evening. They came by about 4 and took an X-Ray. Marc came in after work and we waited and waited for the Dr. & PA to come. Finally at 8 the nurse came in and said they were NOT going to removed it tonight and Dr. was not going to come by to talk to us and they would look at it tomorrow again. Even among the disappointment we had a BIG blessing -- Scott Williams, who we hadnt seen in a couple of years, made a surprise visit to see Mickey. He is such a blessing and it was a big treat for Mickey & I. He stayed over an hour and shared a lot of things with us. Thank you Scott, you were the bright spot in a very long, hard day. Mickey did walk the 4 times and 2 laps each time so that is good. We truly need TOTAL HEALING IN JESUS NAME. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
