REPORT on Mickey day 5 - This day was a mixed bag so to speak. A L-o-n-g day as I was there from 7a.m. until 7 p.m. without ever leaving the floor. Marc & Jacque both came in just before 7 p.m. and I left to come home. Hadnt eaten all day so I came home and heated up the WONDERFUL chicken soup Heidi A. Gummel and John brought me the other night. YUMMY!!!!! The mixed bag- GOOD- was Mickey had wonderful friends drop by and visit: (1) Mark Faulkner and Katrina Spencer Faulkner came and we had the most delightful visit with them and really got to know them better. (2) Pastor Steve came by for a great visit. (3) As he was leaving, and they met in the hall, Dianna Smith, Ruth George Jayme & Brandy and 4 helium balloons and cards from Jayme & Brandy Schesny. While they were still there Don & Betty Voss Coyner blessed us with their presence. The nursing staff said, You were having a party in there! Also received today was a personal get-well message was delivered from Teddy Wyatt and Denise Wyatt. The outpouring of love and affection toward us is overwhelming and so very appreciated. The mixed bag - BAD - was Mickey still has the chest tube in his lung. He was hoping to get it out today but no go. He is having quite a bit of pain close to the time for the next dosage and was very lethargic some of the time today. The Dr. did not come until almost 5 p.m. and said Mickey probably wont be able to go home until Wednesday or Thursday. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers and for our miracle to continue.
