REPRESENTATIVE WEEKS - EDUCATION LOTTERY OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE - Spent today in Columbia serving in my position of the South Carolina Education Lottery Legislative oversight Committee. Whether you like the lottery or not (a matter between YOU and YOUR GOD) it is good to know that the South Carolina Lottery is the best run in the country, thanks to Sumter connected Paula Harper Bethea (director) and her staff. $325 million raised for scholarships, new school buses, K - 12 programs since it was established in 2008. I am honored to serve on this Oversight Committee. This is just another way that I serve the people, even when the Legislature is not in session. The work goes on!!
