RESCUE GROUP NEEDED FOR MAGGIE! Maggie needs your help! This sweet 5 month-old terrier was surrendered from a home with too many dogs. She had several puncture wounds which were severely infected and oozing maggots. Her wounds have been cleaned and she is on medication for infection and pain. The skin on her back is necrotic and she will need continued care and possibly reconstructive surgery. Despite all of this, look at how friendly and adorable she is! Her name was #3, but we changed it to Maggie. (my original post listed her as Tia) Due to the severity of her initial condition and the aftercare, she has been made available only to rescue groups since August 6th. She is still waiting for someone to come for her! If you know of a rescue group who could provide the continued treatment for her long recovery, please contact them. Her ID # is A770361.
