RESCUE ONLY! PUG MIX PLUTO AT HALIFAX HUMANE SOCIETY IN DAYTONA, FL. ONLY 2-3 YRS OLD, CHUG OR PUGGLE WITH AGGRESSION ISSUES. PER SHELTER, HE WILL BE PUT DOWN ON 01/15/15 BY 6 PM IF A RESCUE CANT HELP. He is deemed unadoptable at the shelter. Was originally found in Winter Garden, FL back in Sept 2014. A person found him, looked for the owner, but they were never found. Finder decided to try to keep him but had to surrender him to the shelter due to behavioral/aggression issues on 12/16/14. This pug mix needs a rescue that can work with him and can find the right family for him....no young kids. See comments below from Rescue Coordinator at the shelter: The dog was surrendered for aggression. He has been here since 12/16 and no one has been able to touch this dog. He has made some progress here. One female staff member can feed him treats out of her hand. He is not adoptable here at our shelter. We have been waiting to see if he comes around but I don’t think it will happen. He is available for rescue to a qualified agency. I will hold this dog for one more week to give you a chance to save him. His deadline would be 1/15 6pm.
