RESCUE OR ADOPTER NEEDED - LETS FIND DAFFNEY A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS! Daffney ended up at Plainfield Animal Control after she escaped from a transport in a parking lot. This poor, scared pup was finally trapped by the Plainfield ACO - and then the work began. Daffney was TERRIFIED and who can blame her? She was in a strange place, with strange people, with absolutely nothing familiar around her. The Plainfield ACO worked with her patiently - and enlisted the help of Danny - another timid pup in the pound who is ALSO looking for a home to call his own. With Dannys help, Daffney gradually came out of her shell, to the point where she now is ready to find a forever family - or a rescue who can work with her to continue the work thats been started by the ACO. Daffney is good with other dogs. She is still terrified because of everything shes gone through, but is not at all aggressive - just scared to death! She is a 3-year-old lab / hound mix - and the ACO says that underneath all the fear she is a true sweetheart!
