RESCUE PONY FOR ADOPTION!! This is Banner. He is reportedly 18 yrs. old, registered Shetland (though I do NOT have his papers!), stands approx 41, palomino with 2 small white hind socks and a white blaze, he is currently a stallion though he does not act like one. I dont know much about his training, but I have had him saddled and harnessed and he did rather well so I believe he has had some previous training. He is a little rusty on turning and mouthed the bit a lot, though I think he is in need of a dental floating. He was severely underweight when he came to us, but has gained around 75 pounds in about 6 weeks, and he continues to gain. He stands well for the farrier, ties, loads, is very friendly and calm. Is currently running with 12 lambs and a small mini horse and is good with all of them. He will stand picketed in the yard with no trouble. He also appears to be road safe. Not much bothers him at all. He is still needing a little TLC but he is doing very well. We are working on ground work and he seems to know quite a bit. It will not take much to make him a nice little pony. He would need to be with geldings as he is NOT gelded currently, and he will need his teeth floated. Asking $150 adoption fee to cover feed and costs. We are located near Poland, Indiana. Saddle and harness are also for sale separately!
