RESPECTED AND DISTINGUISHED INDUSTRY CAPTAINS AND PARTNERS. THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD TIMES, YOUR SUPPORT AND THE LASTING MEMORIES Greetings from the Institute of Professional Development, Open University Malaysia. As you are aware, I have tendered my resignation and my last day at IPD-OUM will be on the 20 May 2014. With just over 9 years at IPD-OUM, there is bound to be some trepidation in having to move on. I am leaving IPD-OUM with a heavy heart. But as always, closing one chapter always opens a new one. It will certainly be an adventure that I am personally looking forward to taking part with unbridled fervour. Over the years, our paths have crossed in so many ways, with each delivering an experience that has served to not only to add value to our relationship, but also to ensure that we will continue to be friends despite the imminent parting. I have enjoyed my entire tenure here and I appreciate having had the opportunity to work with most of you. I am certainly looking forward to us keeping in touch as often as we can. I wish to thank from bottom of my heart to two wonderful and special people who have given me all the confidence, support, guidance and encouragement and through whom I was able to develop myself and execute my duties effectively. Many thanks and gratitude to YBhg Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Anuwar Ali, President/Vice Chancellor OUM and En Repin Ibrahim, Vice President/COO METEOR Group. More importantly, I wish to thank the GMC Members of OUM, all my distinguished and respectable industry partners, consultants, lecturers and facilitators and not forgetting all the Deans/Directors/HoDs of OUM/METEOR for all of your contribution that has surely helped to develop and grow IPD-OUM; particularly in terms of its image and stature. Also, please accept my deepest appreciation for extending your support to my Team at IPD-OUM as well. I would like to urge all my friends, trainers, colleagues, partners and consultants who have been very supportive of me to continue to support IPD-OUM. One of my greatest achievements is not only being the top performer in the MLSB / METEOR Group but more satisfying is seeing all my staff transforming from an ordinary staff to a performer. This was very much evident during the handover session with AP Yon Rosli and the staff last Wednesday. Over my 9 wonderful years here at OUM /METEOR, I must admit and agree that I have gained tremendous amount of experience in leadership & management, fantastic networking and most of all a huge wealth of knowledge and skills from various levels. On this note, I must confess that I would not have secured all these achievements without the trust, confidence and support given to me from our Captains of the Industry. Also included in the list are some of my close International associates from Sri Lanka, India, Sudan, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Mongolia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, South Korea, New Zealand and Mongolia.....thank you so much indeed. And there will be pleasant memories that I will always cherish with regards to my journey at IPD-OUM and at OUM / METEOR. It has been an incredible experience and one that I will truly appreciate as well as cherish for long.
