OOPS --------------------------------------------------------------------------- POTWIN, Kansas – A shooting that was first called accidental may not have been an accident after all. It happened Sunday in the small town of Potwin in Butler County. The Butler County Sheriff says 49-year-old Richard Longbardi was in an argument with his wife, 31-year-old Brooke, about their children. The sheriff says that was when she pulled a gun and fired several shots. Richard was hit in the upper left shoulder and rushed to Wesley Medical Center where he is currently in critical condition. Richard and Brooke both said the shooting was accidental, but authorities don’t agree and arrested the wife on a charge of aggravated battery.
