REST IN CHRIST Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and Learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:28-29 There is such sweetness and solace in this promise of God that gladdens the heart. It is the promise of REST from struggles and frustrations Come unto me This is an invitation; it is a call. Christ is calling us all to come to him for true REST; for there is none in world who does not have one form of burden or the other. And only in him can the burdens be lifted and in him alone we find REST to our souls. In this holy invitation of our Lord Jesus Christ, he is simply calling us to trust in him, to rely upon him. to lean upon him; and he will take care of life issues and needs for us. Therefore beloved put ur trust in him Peter declared,, casting all your care on Him, because He cares about 1Pet. 5:7. Therefore beloved in this new month do not bear your burdens alone; lay them down at the feet of Jesus and in exchange he will give you peace and rest.
