REST Matt 8:23-26 now he got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. He asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying Lord,save us! We re perishing but he said to them why are you fearful,O you of little of faith? This passage has mostly been preached to people with the tag is Jesus asleep in ur life? We then pray o lord be awake in me? But u see thats not what happened here cause Jesus went to sleep of his own will. He was not wrong in sleeping. Wat happened was that he said in vs 18 dat let us go to the other side. He got into the boat and slept (a position of rest). The disciples were not the same, they kept working. But alas there works could not save them. When Jesus awoke, he didnt say why did u let me sleep? Wat he said was o ye of little faith. They had no faith in God to take them to the other side. Same for us. Now we re in the boat (salvation, the kingdom of his dear son) with Christ, as a faithful follower, whenever the master is asleep, YOU T0O use sleeping pills. REST. If he has given you a word concerning that matter, REST on it. By grace are we saved,through faith, not of urself, it is the gift of God eph 2:8. Read heb 4. SHALOM
