RESTORATION OF THE TENT OF DAVID DISCIPLESHIP The core Commission of Discipleship Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, The leader and the disciples always have a connection in the Spirit. It can be a form of contact, a working of a miracle, a divine revelation that makes the disciple to believe on his leader. John 1: 43 The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.” 44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” 46 Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49 Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!” 50 Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” The secrets of the Kingdom of God are revealed to them because of their dedication to the work of the Ministry. The leader is more open to them and can go with them in the deeper waters in the Word of God. Mark 4:11 And he said to them, “ To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables, Luke 8:10 he said, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God , but for others they are in parables, so that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’ Relation between Paul and Timothy: 2 Timothy 4:1 [Preach the Word] I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound[a] teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. Following the teachings of their leader. Always have the core Vision and the Mission of their leader in hand. They understand that the vision in the life of their leader and they live to partake on it and to fulfill it for the glory of the Kingdom of God. John 6:53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread[c] the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” 59 Jesus [d] said these things in the synagogue, as he taught at Capernaum. 60 When many of his disciples heard it, they said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?” 66 After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. 67 So Jesus said to the Twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, 69 and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.” Inquisitive in asking questions to learn more about the ways of God. John 14:8 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father , and it is enough for us.” John 14:9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Matthew 17: 19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” 20 He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 [a]But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. Mark 9:29 And He replied to them, This kind cannot be driven out by anything but prayerand fasting. Condition of discipleship: Luke 14:26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:27 Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:33 So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple. Luke 9:62 Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” The leader has a soul responsibility to watch over the disciples God has given him, to rebuke them, admonition them, encourage them; train them in all righteousness that they may be the workmanship of God in his vineyard. The disciples are called to listen attentively to the voice of their leader to avoid confusion. Being attentive to the teachings so we may be on the same mind, same value, same belief and same understanding of the Word of God. If there may be a rise of confusion, it calls for the leader to straighten it up by the Word of God and to take full authority and close any door the devil may try to use to defile the sheep. God will hold responsible the leader over the life of the sheep . Hebrews 13:17 obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you. It is a soul responsibility of the leader to shepherd the sheep, defend them against wolves in sheep’s clothing, and heal them spiritually, physically and emotionally. This calls for the leader to spend time with God and to seek for divine healing power from God, that the sick sheep in the congregation may receive the healing of God. Psalm 35:13 But I, when they were sick— I wore sackcloth; I afflicted myself with fasting; I prayed with head bowed on my chest.) Zechariah 11: 16 For behold, I am raising up in the land a shepherd who does not care for those being destroyed, or seek the young or heal the maimed or nourish the healthy, but devours the flesh of the fat ones, tearing off even their hoofs.17 “Woe to my worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock! May the sword strike his arm and his right eye! Let his arm be wholly withered, his right eye utterly blinded!” Ezekiel 34: The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy, and say to them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord God: Ah, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding yourselves! Should not shepherds feed the sheep? 3 You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat ones, but you do not feed the sheep. 4 The weak you have not strengthened, the sick you have not healed, the injured you have not bound up, the strayed you have not brought back, the lost you have not sought, and with force and harshness you have ruled them. 5 So they were scattered, because there was no shepherd, and they became food for all the wild beasts. 6 My sheep were scattered; they wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. My sheep were scattered over all the face of the earth, with none to search or seek for them. We still believe in the power of the blood of Jesus, that it is still on the business of healing and restoring lives of people. We believe in faith healing through the name that is above all names, the Mighty name of Jesus, as the Lord commanded us in authority in the book of: Matthew 10:1 And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction. Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay. Luke 10:9 Heal the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ Luke 9:1] And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, Luke 10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. We believe in miracles as God’s faithfulness to the children of men, to show them his power that the unbelieving may believe that the Lord is God. We believe in salvation as the free gift of God, that whosoever will repent of their sins, accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior of their life can have it according to Romans 10: 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. We believe in the Gift of the Holy Spirit, and centrality of the person of the Holy Spirit as our core leader in worship of Jehovah. We believe in the infilling with the Holy Spirit that comes in different manifestation by various gifts of the Holy Spirit. We believe in the death and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus and the Power of the Cross as the redemption of mankind to God We believe in the Five Hold Ministry, as the Gifts God gave to the church to bring her to the full stature of our Lord Jesus. Ephesians 4: 8 Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.” 9 (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? 10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers] 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 1 Corinthians 12:28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophet s, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues. We believe in the power of repentance, and continuance repentance on a daily basis as we prepare for the coming of the Lord. That it is through repentance that we can be prepared for the glorious appearance of our Lord Jesus. This will come with the measure of the Word of God. The Word of God has a soul responsibility of convicting us and drawing us closer to God on a daily basis. We believe we are the latter church preparing the way of the coming of the Messiah and rebuilding the broken tent of David. Jeremiah 30:18 “Thus says the LORD: Behold, I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob and have compassion on his dwellings; the city shall be rebuilt on its mound, and the palace shall stand where it used to be. Acts 15:16 “‘After this I will return, and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it, We believe that the core teachings of this hour are to draw us closer to God and the cross. That our first mandate is to seek the Kingdom of God and its righteousness and all things shall be added unto us ( Matth 6:33). We believe by doing this, the Lord will supply our needs according to his riches in glory but we shall not use the pulpit as a place of soliciting money from the sheep of Christ. Whoever would want to give for the ministry will give after a willing heart not through persuasion and manipulation of the word of God to enrich themselves. The main focus should be the cross and drawing souls to the Kingdom of God not us. Training them to believe and to put their faith in God not on the earthly things. We believe in the power of prayer, that the house of Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel is a house of prayer and petition, as our Lord Jesus gave us the perfect example. Prayer ministry is the core institute of our belief for prayer connects us with God. Hebrews 5:7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and peti tions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.
