PLUS- In 1966, four graduates from BSU with an average age of 20 moved to New York City to follow their dreams of stardom. Three months later, Barry Tashian and his band of garage-punk upstarts The Remains were signed to Columbia Records and on a US tour opening up for the largest band in the world.. The Beatles. Despite their dramatic ascent from clubs to the stages of Shea Stadium and Candlestick Park on what was to the be the Fabs final series of historic live performances, the band split just weeks after the tour wrapped and before their debut album was ever released!
