REV. PASTOR S.B.J. OSHOFFA’S SERMON AT IMEKO IN THE YEAR - TopicsExpress

REV. PASTOR S.B.J. OSHOFFA’S SERMON AT IMEKO IN THE YEAR 1982. Here at Imeko, on the land where we are was the Church of Cherubim and Seraphim. Here, they had the intention of building their own church and I was spiritually directed to request for this land. I did and the land was granted unto me and the Celestial Church of Christ with the affirmation by the head of the Church of Cherubim and Seraphim that there had been revelation to this effect which was given to him fifty-six years ago; that a sect; very big one, will come to this place. It will be called Jerusalem and that it is God’s injunction which is coming into being and fulfillment. Therefore, everything about Imeko city is God’s wish and the fulfillment of His Word. We proceeded to report to the Kabiyesi of this happening. To our greatest surprise, when we got there, he added four hectares of land to that which the church of Cherubim and Seraphim had given us. From this stage, we thought of the need to see the Government for all the official processing required of us about the occupancy of this land. To show the whole world that all that is of God, He put finishing touches to it before everyone starts processing it. That is to say, by the time we got to the Government representative on this issue, he told us that if we had come earlier, government could have given us more land and that all the roads that lead to the city could have been reconstructed. That notwithstanding, Government will be up to something for the glory of this Church (Celestial) here in Ogun State in particular and Nigeria as a nation owned by God. We should not be surprised that this is a very small city within another small city; this, as chosen as a celestial city. At this point in time, the Rev. Pastor Founder called a woman fondly called “Doctor’s Mother” and another called “Prophet’s Mother” to give the testimonies to the revelations sometimes ago about the celestial city. The first woman said, she vowed that all she would say was true revelation through her by God, In a dream, she said she saw Papa about four days ago at about one O’clock or there-about. She saw him flying high in a very bright colour, after a while, he landed back to the mother earth. He said he had gone for a meeting with the angels for a special power for this great mission to be accomplished here. I was so astonished that I started thinking that what could this man be, an angel or what exactly could this man be called? This was my state of mind when I woke up. Meanwhile, I was afraid to narrate the story to anybody not until I saw him (Papa) that I stood bold to tell him. The second woman came forward with her own narration of the dream she had. She vowed all she was going to say to be true. She said the Tuesday that preceded this great gathering, she saw Papa in something that looked like a balloon high in the sky at about 3.am (three O’clock) in the night. The balloon was all glass and Papa himself dressed as if he was wearing a pillow sort of attire. Someone was there piloting the plane. It was revealed to me that he was going for a meeting. I saw myself surrounded by three candles, lighted and glowing brightly. When I woke up, I started feeling feverish. I had the instinct that I was going to die. Then, my husband quickly rushed me to PAPA and I told him all that I saw in my dream if we go by the day these two people had these dreams, it was the same day God revealed these messages to them. This is to tell the whole world that Imeko City is God’s making and not that of man. Even today, God’s power dwells among us; this same power that was and is and will for ever be. May God be with us forever more (Amen). May God in His power put to check all acts of pride so as to allow this church, great expansion for the sake of salvation to all mankind. I therefore wish everybody much more as you wish me. So also, I advise you to pray always for yourselves. We are scanty (low populated) here today. May be that is because it has been seven years opportunity to announce to you all that henceforth, it is going to be an annual event. So, tell those that are not present here today to endeavour to be present next year to share in this glory of God. To round off the whole activities of the day, they sang this Yoruba Song, “A lo si Bethlehem ti a ti bi Jesu, Irawo Orun won bu sayo (2ce), Olugbala ti wa lati ko ese aye lo”. Those who always go to the beach will know this song. Let them sing with me. Literally, the song is talking about the birth of Christ, the glory that accompanied it and the purpose of Christ’s birth for mankind; “Salvation”.
