REV UPDATE: I have some good news and I have some not-so-good - TopicsExpress

REV UPDATE: I have some good news and I have some not-so-good news, but I also have some better news. The good news is that I am doing quite well. I’m doing pretty much everything that I want to do: eating, sleeping, driving, officiating, preaching, going into public places, not wearing gloves or mask, taking less meds. The not-so-good news is that I am not getting any younger. Our oldest son is celebrating his 40th birthday today, I am all signed up for Medicare which takes effect November 1, and I’m wondering how it all happened so quickly. It was just the other day that I was graduating from RWC and getting ready to marry my beautiful bride. I guess time sure does fly when one is having fun – and I definitely have been doing that. Now for the better news: These official updates will no longer be coming your way with the frequency to which you have become accustomed., simply because there is not a lot of updating to be done. I am not scheduled to go to Boston until February, when I will have a bone marrow biopsy to satisfy the protocol for the clinical study. After that, I will only be going to Boston every August for my annual check-ups. If anything happens to change that, you all will be the first to know. Please know how much Linda and I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers for us over the last 17+ months. From the very beginning of my journey, you have all helped confirm for me the basic premise that God is Good ~ All the Time !! He has never failed us. He is the same yesterday, today and forever! For those who would like to read my story from the beginning, you can find it at the following link: revbillings.servingwithjoy/index.html Thank you, Sharon A. Maxwell, for providing this website for us. We do appreciate all of your hard work. So, officially, my next planned update will be in February. That does not mean that I will not be posting things on facebook, nor does it mean that I won’t be sharing news items via email with my family and friends. It just means that we will not be adding updates or status reports to the website. I will definitely continue to thank God every day for my restored health. He deserves all praise and glory for what He has done in my life. There you have it – the good, the not-so-good, and the better. Oh, I almost forgot the BEST – and that, of course, would be that GOD is GOOD ~ ALL the TIME !! - but you already knew that. Blessings, my friends!
