RE_POST .......... I posted this early in the week..........As footy lovers from all around we meet for the one thing, the love of our club and the pride in our cheer squad. The road has tested us many times thru pain of others leaving us, thru ups and downs along the way. The people we have met over the years and interact in each others lives thru this supporters group, can only leave life long memories. One person cant do this job alone one person cant make a friend by themslf. As a team and a group we support week in week out, for the better of our club Richmond FC Our work load start early Feb and then when the last siren has gone for that year. But its more than that? its more than just meeting up for dinner and xmas. Its about being a caretaker of a passionate for this period in time, as we all must be open and wanting for the next wave of tigerarmy members. Its about the time we give so others can enjoy the work we have done, the message we send each week that is read. Its about you all, and others that are part of this cheer squad. The ones that give up 1-20 hours a week or those that join and support the club as cheer squad members year in year out. Thank you all i love going every week im lucky i know you and you have let me into a part of your lives. From my heart i dont want it to be me or the trout show (that just follows me) wherever i speak to the club or others i try my hardest to be about the ORCS. As ORCS must always be the first brand we protect as its the heart of the Richmond FC. If the chief or the club ever asked me to stop or change DONE. Both mean so much to me, as i have been in and out since i could sneak out of home. The thing im the most proudest in recent years is the growth of or cheer squad, from young families rushing from footy games just to be part of us. To the people that make all the banners and flags to grow this cheer squad. To the people who arrive before the seagulls even wake up and those that leave family behind and share the love we have. Im proud of those that travel long distances and interstate or overseas. im dam proud of my family and the family i have with you, some say we are to old for cheer squads. When does the outside of your body or the age you are, control your heart and what your heart wants you to do. ORCS had many great hard working people since the day Alices team kicked off, thru the long serving times of David and now Gerard. We as members must support and keep doing a great job and leave a proud cheer squad for the next 50+ years.
