RHS Survey Results (I think this is more readable format!) The original post: For those of you who graduated from Rahway High School ONLY please state the year you graduated. Here are some preliminary findings. The survey results are in and I think quite interesting. 749 responses were received. From that total, 14 were disqualified for various reasons including a few blank responses and nonsense responses bringing the total number to 735 TOTAL valid responses. The most elder alumni graduated from the Class of 1947 so I chose the year 1940 as the starting point and 2014 as the ending point. I was originally attempting to illustrate a Bell Curve with the year 1975 being near the apex / median / top of the bell. I dont think this will be the case with this survey due to the randomness of the responses. The Graduating Class with the MOST RESPONSES is: #1) 1973 with 39 respondents, #2) 1967 with 36 respondents, and #3) 1979 with 35. TOTALS BY CLASS YEAR* *NO RESPONSE was received from these years: 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1956 and 2006. 1947 = 1 - - - - - - - 1960 = 16 1970 = 14 1980 = 12 1990 = 7 2000 = 8 1951 = 1 1961 = 17 1971 = 19 1981 = 16 1991 = 12 2001 = 3 1952 = 1 1962 = 14 1972 = 27 1982 = 21 1992 = 9 2002 = 5 1953 = 1 1963 = 9 1973 = 39 1983 = 12 1993 = 9 2003 = 6 1954 = 2 1964 = 10 1974 = 19 1984 = 19 1994 = 9 2004 = 5 1955 = 1 1965 = 21 1975 = 19 1985 = 23 1995 = 8 2005 = 4 1966 = 19 1976 = 27 1986 = 17 1996 = 7 1957 = 2 1967 = 36 1977 = 24 1987 = 23 1997 = 10 2007 = 1 1958 = 3 1968 = 29 1978 = 25 1988 = 7 1998 = 2 2008 = 3 1959 = 5 1969 = 15 1979 = 35 1989 = 8 1999 = 4 2009 = 3 ----------- ------------- ------------- ------------- ------------ ------------- 16 186* 248* 158* 77 38 2010 = 1 2011 = 2 2012 = 4 2013 = 3 2014 = 1 ------------ 11 Looking at the totals for each decade, a Bell Curve does appear to be slanted toward the left. I will be posting some comments so check this post over the next day or two.
