RICH BLACKS & POOR WHITE BOERS IN SOUTH AFRICA -video Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as “bad luck.” -Robert Heinlein The black couple seem to have earned their success in their shoe business by entrepreneurial hard work in designing, manufacturing, and marketing shoes. Nobody has to buy their products. The poor Boer couple seem to be mired in poverty due to a lack of education, drive,.... and the fact that the great majority of humanity do not prosper on their own efforts. I expect that there are plenty of whites who do prosper, similar to the black couple,... and that the great mass of SA blacks are also mired in poverty. The Pareto Principle tells us that only a small, creative minority is capable of achieving extraordinary success... and that race has little or nothing to do with it. My SA contacts tell me that SA Affirmative Action excludes better qualified whites in higher education and employment due to quota systems, and that propertied whites may have it taken from them due to socialist reforms. Socialism has never worked to produce prosperity. Affirmative Action is a rotten system, whether it discriminates against whites or blacks. I favor meritocracy, let the chips fall where they may. youtube/watch?v=e5jJSjpztmA
