RICHES ARE NOT COMELY FOR A NIGGARD: Having carefully perused few portions of the extra biblical version of the book of Ecclesiastes; in Ecclesiasticus 14:3. Dont fret or worry if you couldnt find Ecclesiasticus! The Scripture says: Riches are not comely for a niggard: what could a nervous man do with money? Comely has; appropriate, ideal, suitable, etc as its synonyms. Niggard has; stingy, miser, close-fisted, as synonyms. The above scriptures could be interpreted as; Riches are not appropriate for a stingy. Wheneer you have a deep thought about a relative of yours that has this world goods, who is extremely rich, and often deny you of your request regarding the time you phone him, go to him. Uncle or daddy; whichever title you may address him:My son have been sent home for school levy; I have none to run to aside you sir, you are my backbone!. He invariably replied you as; Cousin, nephew, You see, my goods arrived lately at the dock yesternight, I have just sent several million of naira to haul them out, if you had come, perhaps two days ago, I would have given you #50,000:00 or how much did you say you need?. You replied #21,500:00. Oh! Just a token he interjected. Next week, I will call on you. He concluded. Then you dragged your feet away from him. On getting home, you would nearly accuse God with foolishness! Perhaps youll think; how has God given riches to them that would not judiciously use it? Do not forget that; Riches are not comely, appropriate, suitable for a niggard, stingy, man. What could a nervous man do with money? The scriptures asked. They use money to provoke the common men, to sponsor militants, to snatch another mens wives, to oppress people, to sponsor cases and show the gate of prison to whoever offend them. My word is akin to that of the Fuji Legend of blessed memory; Sikiru Ayinde, if we have a niggard or miser relative, shouldnt we try to avoid him, let us be industrious, do not make any attempt to call him on phone; let him be hearing that you named your child last week without his involvement. Let him know that God is relevant while he is irrelevant! Do you know that if he bought a cow for you, or paid a certain bill for you, all Nigerians will hear it.For example, Matthew has just gone out, he came for a crucial matter, I handed #100,000:00k down to him that is how all and sundry would hear it! Why dont you brush him aside. Let me talk on what could happen to a niggard. When David thought as we could all think; that is if my wealthy uncle does not know how to say take; I must know how to say bring. And this has brought shame upon you in many times that you are denied of your request. There was a wealthy man named Nabal, his wife was Abigail: David and his men were hungry; he dispatched some of them to his for a request; And thus shall ye say to him that liveth in prosperity... 1st Samuel 25:6. They told them that they were hungry. Give us food to swallow. And Nabal answered David servants and said, Who is David? and who is the son of Jesse? there be many servants now a days that break away every man from his master. Shall I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give unto men, whom I know not whence they be? 1st Samuel 25:10-11. Abigail and a handful of servants were with her husband while he said no to Davids request. The servants of David were shameful and were like dragging their feet away from Nabal. Abigail nearly torn clothe off her husband for she was highly indifferent to his habit. Abigail made haste to meet the demand of David and his servants without the awareness of churlish Nabal. When Abigail got to David, David thought that, riches are not appropriate for a stingy man. And this led to a chain of event that led to a mass slaughter of Nabal and all his servants and made Abigail to become Davids wife.... An advice goes to you all that are influential, let us abide by the principles of Gods word. Luke 3:11, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. Dont infuriate us with your riches. Bye for now!
