RIGHT FROM NRM N.E.C meeting at State House Entebbe The National Executive committee of NRM has unanimously approved and confirmed the appointment of Government Chief Whip Justine Lumumba, Richard Todwong, Rose Namayanja & Kenneth Omona top executive s of the NRM administration.Richard Todwong has also been approved as deputy secretary general replacing Dorothy Hyuha while Rose Mary Namayanja has been approved as the party treasurer replacing Amelia Kyambade and deputized by Dr. Omona Keneth.Dr Tang Odoi has been approved as the chairman of the NRM Electoral commission, replacing Prime Minister Dr Ruhakana Rugunda. Jane Alisemera Babiiha has been approved as a member of the NRM Electoral Commission. Those approved and serving in Government are expected to resign their positions and serve in fulltime capacity at the NRM secretariat Kyadondo. Justice Kavuma has dismissed the Application against #NRM and ordered petition be fixed for hearing. Justice Kavuma has this afternoon ruled that balance of convenience rules in favor of respondent and therefore dismisses the application. Justice Kavuma says the burden of proof is on the Applicant to prove his case. Judge said that none of the outgoing and in coming officials of #NRM are complaining. Kavuma said there must be a prima facie case with probability of success to grant an injunction. The burden of proof was on the Applicant to prove his case. The lawyers for the Applicant were dissatisfied with the ruling and will formally appeal against it.
