RIGHT ON CUE: It seems that the province is just right on cue in strengthening its stake on education as evidenced by scaling up the target for the NAT. The achievement of Jheorge M. Llona gives as a wider perspective that public education in our town is highly competitive. And without being opposed to private education which is also and always giving its best to promote educational excellence, the lesson we can derive from this huge achievement of a Daragueno is that financial obstacle is not a hindrance to a determined mind; neither is poverty a problem, nor ordinary educational preference is. To be emphatic about, he finished his grade and secondary education both in public schools where he blossomed to be great. Now, with the desire of aiming high in NAT rankings, we can expect more fine products in the mold of this proud young PMA valedictorian. And to add, if local government support continues to pour in, Albayanos will be perennial topnotchers in any and all examinations. Alongside this target and in connection with this huge feat of JHEORGE who is from Brgy. Maopi, Daraga, there is another one who excelled in mentoring alternative education in our town and who happens to be his kabarangay, and he is SIR DANTE MAGAYANES, administrator of Daraga Human Resources Development Center, located in Anislag, Daraga. For championing the cause of the poor and under-privileged young minds who want to attain success through the alternative learning system (ALS), he himself is an achiever. As counterpart and partner, the Municipal government always expressed its support to the provincial government.
