RIMS TO RUINS Artist Profile Jay Moore grew up in Evergreen, - TopicsExpress

RIMS TO RUINS Artist Profile Jay Moore grew up in Evergreen, Colorado, spending nearly every waking moment outdoors. He attended the Colorado Art Institute and the Art Students League of Denver, eventually melding his love of art and the outdoors in the plein air art form. “As an artist, a painting is like a conversation: I hear what the terrain says to me and respond on canvas,” says Jay. “And when I create paintings, my clients join in the dialogue too, sharing their thoughts and feelings about the landscape they want portrayed.” The skills he has developed in both observing and painting have landed his paintings in magazines, exhibitions, and collections across the country. His work is in the collections of the Denver Art Museum and the Pioneer Museum in Colorado Springs as well as many corporate and private collections. Join us on November 5 for our second annual RIMS TO RUINS Art Exhibition & Sale where you can meet Jay and see his two paintings on view and for sale.
